Re: Sometimes Sluggish acceleration
The tech didn't find any codes on mine and didn't experience the problem on a test drive so the told me to come pick it up there is nothing they can do. I asked the tech to take a ride with me which he did and after driving around for 7 minutes it finally started its sluggish acceleration problem. The tech made some calls the next day and did some testing and now they are going to replace the IC pump.
My question is anyone who has had the IC pump replaced did you notice a big change in performance? If the pump is completely out and never running I would expect quite a big difference in the performance I have had. I'm hoping that it has been yanking out timing this whole time in all situations (part throttle and full) b/c of the pump and thats the cause of my disappointment, and that its been in the 90s and 100s since I've got it so the intake air is pretty hot. I have not been too impressed with this car as of yet, looking for some hope.
