The OEM antenna was pretty easy to access. I have a roadster so I opened the back lid and accessed the underside from there. 22mm socket to remove the nut. The wiring has a connector about 8" in from the base. Disconnected the wires, pulled the base out, cleaned up the hole area, put the new gasket on, reassembled and done. Probably 15 minutes total. The gasket is almost an exact fit. Thank you again for this tip.
