Thanks to all. Dealer (last oil change) used a filter that seemed to have metal squares (chicken wire) covering surface. Filter I used was a Mann-Filter HU 718/5 X Metal-Free Oil Filter.

BTW is the fragile plastic clip holding the upper coolant hose needful ? If so will need to make something, clip mount is blind at bottom so cannot just use a loose hose clamp.
