I purchased an antenna gasket from X8R and it works great. You do not have to remove your antenna to replace the gasket. Another member used ths same gasket; however, he used silicone around the base before installing the gasket. You do not need the silicone to seal the gasket. The company that sells the product has a video on the replacement procedures and they do not use silicone or any other sealer. The important thing is to remove the old gasket and try to get as much gasket material from under the base as possible. Warm the seal before applying and you get a secure seal without using a gasket sealer.
