Roger that, my method also. Works fine, but still not easy.
And when you use the 10mm OE/BX wrench to take it out, apply a LIGHT coating of petroleum jelly on the lugs and gasket. This step helps the reinstall IMMENSELY. Otherwise, it is a $@%&# to turn to the lug stops.
