I just discovered the rear liftgate does not appear to be locking on my 2004. I found out because I instinctively went to open it when returning to my parked car and got hit with the alarm. I then checked and have determined that there appears to be no mechanical activity at the liftgate when I lock the car. Good news is that, obviously, the alarm senses that it's locked.
