THis is asinine. I know we were discussing the lighter one day and I chimed in that you could modify the power feed and have your lighter and glove box light (they are wired to the same fuse) hot all the time. I've modded all three Crossfires Iv'e owned and modded several other cars at our local tech days.

You tie two fuse holders together and "jump" battery power from a fuse that is hot all the time to the fuse that powers the lighter/glove box light. In order to not backfeed power to other circuits, you cut off one lead of the fuseholder that goes in the "Glove Box/Lighter" fuse position.

The write up is five years old, my laptop drive quit about four years ago and I'm sure the writeup was lost. BUT, it's also in a thread here SOMEWHERE....
