The factory never sent one out with fish eyes in it, it would not have passed inspection. It had to have been redone by the dealer before you purchased it. I would remove all three pieces and either DIY or have a shop refinish them, it's not really all that hard. I hope you get things done to your satisfaction, we all like to keep things "lookin good".

I appreciate your input. You may be right and we'll never find out if my dealership tinkered with it before I got it. It is true that it's a 2008 model and I bought it in 2010.
