Well berries, work has gotten in the way of life again. We were blessed with four new projects two weeks ago, and we kidded ourselves into believing that we could still get away for a few day and enjoy everyone's company, BUT, reality has set in, and we can't take off work without irritating our customers. One of the projects is a school renovation, which has to be completed by August 1st. and we just started work today, and we don't even have building permits yet. Don't tell anyone

You are not suffering alone as I too must postpone my dreams of driving the Crossie with friends in order to fulfill the needs of our customers. The Wife went to see the grandkids in CT and I had to stay and run the business.
Last year I had to leave early because of work.
This event is only 5 hour drive away. I do hope it becomes a permanent event in the Ozarks. Perhaps next year I will be able to remove the harness for a few days chumming with good friends..
