That said, let us see what happens.
It is so exciting to hear that the event went well for all. I look forward to meeting some attendees who will also be at the fall Dragon. Andi hope, in the future, my life gives me the time to once again enjoy Eureka Springs next year. And for many years to come.
I support Franc's position on this issue. We have 2 weekend GTG's in Fontana (Spring & Fall), The Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle, the Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit, and now a summer week-long event in Eureka Springs. That's five major events for us. More than likely as many, if not more, as any other group of car enthusiasts. Adding a 6th major event might be a stretch. Now attending all 5 probably isn't going to happen for most of us - I for one see attending a Fontana GTG only 1x each year. More than likely the fall event. I've attended Carlisle 1x, and hope to make a Dream Cruise GTG in the next year or 2.
But I could see Eureka Springs continuing as the CAA event and, maybe every 3rd year it goes somewhere else - probably out west to give our west coast members an event near their backyard. The ones held in Colorado & the Northwest sounded like they were successful events. Or maybe the 6th event is a west coast, long weekend GTG, making it more regional for our members in that part of the country.
