Bosch and Valeo make replacement alternators for each others alternator, so the correct Valeo will replace a Bosch alternator and vice versa. There is a list somewhere here with the part numbers. The cable attachment pattern will indicate the OEM maker. Generally Bosch supplied the NA alternators and Valeo the SRT alternators but that is not always the case. Confusion reigns.
