As to the alternator, if yu have a Valeo, get a Valeo.
If you have a Bosch, get a Bosch.

Don't forget to disconnect the negative battery cable before you start, wouldn't want that big positive alternator cable end coming in contact with the frame anywhere - can you say Crossfire flambeau ?

That's how I remember it is done.
Naturally I may be a little wrong but that is the basis of the clamping arrangement.

Finally out.
Sure not like the good old 60's when everything was upfront and easy to get at.
Still love the car.
Ordered a direct replacement from DB Electric.
Take a day longer to get here than AutoZone or Oreily but $100.00 cheaper
Same warranty and all.
So now wait
