For now my solution to the sticky key problem is to leave the key parked in the accessories position and using the battery kill switch the PO had installed. Of course this means carrying two keys with me.
The sticky key problem will cost you big bucks if you take it to a dealer, they'll tell you you need the whole ignition switch which runs $650, plus labor and taxes you'll be lucky to get out of the dealership with a bill less than $1,200 bucks. You can fix it yourself for free in two hours tops.
You do know what causes it right?
