AFAIK, the throttle position sensor sends a signal to the ecu. The ecu interprets this signal, in turn operating the throttle body. You've already replaced the throttle body, and mis-interpretation of the signal by the ecu is reasonably unlikely - leaving the tps?
The TPS IS the throttle body ! It is a resistive strip on a circuit board inside the black cover.
