Turns out the misfire trouble was due to the remaining rear cat on bank 2. A 24 hour soak with the occasional in and out, in a mix of detergent, citric acid and water done the trick. I rinsed it out for over for over an hour but soapy suds just kept coming out, I gave up in the end, I think the cat absorbs the detergent.
Unfortunately I never got to the bottom of the DTC's
Anyways thanks for the input everyone and hopefully this might help others out.

Forgot to mention, since cleaning the contacts on the ESP unit the warning light has not been back.
