Man I'm sorry to hear about your Crossfire. My car was just finished right before the storm and rain hit Houston and we were able to drive it and my sons cars to higher ground even though our area never floods.
I know what you mean about having other concerns to take care of before the car. We went through the same thing with Katrina losing six vehicles, two that had just undergone a year long restoration and one that was being restored over a period of 20 years.
Finding housing, new jobs, dealing with insurance companies, replacing the essentials (as all we had was the clothes on our backs and little more when we left) and a flooded home took priority over the cars.
The devastation is unreal, something I never thought I'd see twice in a lifetime and to have to go through it is a horrific experience. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your loved ones. Stay strong things will get better.
