Read up on the map sensor and how it works May shed some light on your low idle problem especially at 5000 ft.
( Manifold absolute pressure sensor)
Using using the search bar type in map or maf then hit search and when it comes up go to Post Number 3 and it will show you a picture of the map sensor and where it's at. Also there's an excellent article on how it works on Wikipedia.
