There are two sets of screws 2 x long steel & 2 x aluminium, didn't torque the aluminium ones up much, as , for this cover I think the steel screws do most of the work. SOooo today I took it out for a test drive, the sealant having had 2 days to cure ( 24 hrs is sufficient ). ANDddd ... great no leak, bone dry ... for the time being. I guess the fix has worked. Happy, so I gave her a wash & cleaned the wheels as she's going in for wheel balancing on Friday ( slight wobble as 70mph ).
98%of the success comes from the prep work and obviously you did a good job 👍
