Anyway I think the problem lies in the CLP/SSM and not the SKREEM. Fuse #9 is for the siren and a few other items as outlined previously. If getting around the SKREEM was that easy there would be more Crossfires stolen.
I tend to agree, having gone through one SKREEM replacement. The SKREEM is "looking" for the chip in the FOB. The car will crank but won't turnover, you get 3 trys and then the car won't crank unless you disconnect/reconnect the battery.
