You needn't worry about feeling uneasy when surrounded by a large group of people. Happens to a lot of folks. But you've taken a major step in overcoming that feeling with your invite for Gumbo on Thursday night. You're going to meet a lot of folks you never knew before and do this in a very informal setting by feeding them. Works every time.
And this will all be behind you before the remainder of the weekend crowd even gets to Fontana Village. You & your husband are sort of celebrities, as far as I am concerned. It's not every day that you get to meet someone that owns 7 Crossfires!! You might have more friends that you want!!
