Gary, what doesn't work is a 'photo insert' into your post that is hosted from Photobucket. Posting a link to Photobucket still works as you did.

We had such a great time, once again, this fall. I can't thank the organizers enough for continuing to make this event one that we never tire of attending. Each time brings new adventures, new knowledge, and new friends. I try my darndest to place FB, and Forum, names with faces. It puts a smile on my face when someone introduces themselves to me because they know me from FB. (Clearly, my reputation preceeds me. A work in progress. 😉 ) I love all the heart the leaders put into making this a great event. Don't change a thing. This trip, I learned to put down my cell/camera and enjoy my surroundings. It made for much more enjoyable face-time, scenery viewing, and car envying. Alas, it's also my excuse for not having any pics to post. 😁

The Dragon event is blessed with great driving throughout the region, not just on the 129 "Dragon." One is wise to have a partner for taking the photos whilst you have a good time driving. My wife takes great shots but forces me to pull over, even turn around, so she can get them.


I really don't mind as this gives me an excuse to "Catch Up" for the lost time. It is, at least, the best one I can deliver. But, it makes for a good time for both of us.

A Big "thank you" to Red Dog for the gift of an OCD shirt, I went to the post office yesterday and found it in the box - I had no idea (or memory) that he was sending me a shirt.

That adds yet another to the many gifts I came home form this past Dragon with. Crossfire friends are the best friends I have.

I too claim Irish and German ancestry, Collier, and Carmack. The Colliers were actually English. My ancestors were part of the Protestant interlopers who have lived there for only 500 years.
