assuming the skreem is the culprit. it will be plug n play and ready to start the car right out of the box. the only resyncing of the key is for the keyless lock/unlock functions.


if you want to get a head start, begin pulling out your instrument cluster so you can swap the skreem and antenna ring and get the car driving again. a shop would probably charge 3 hours to swap in the skreem/antenna while taking their time and experience to not damage any of your dashboard. check the how-to for the sticky key fix as it shows you how to get in there and put it back together.
