Cool 2008 owner recent clutch issues

Hi,
i am new here so thought this was a good place to start. I have a 2008 convertible that has been very good to me. One night I came out of work and when I cranked the car, I could not get it into reverse. It was a little cold outside and when it's cold, I can hear a spring or something "zing" when I press in the clutch. So I turned the car off and noted that I could go through every gear at ease so here is where I got stupid. I decided to put the car in reverse and then start the car! What came next was shocking. The thing jumped right out of gear and back in neutral. Well, I'm too curious for my own good. I tried it again!!!! Dont ask why.. I was talking to my GF and giving her the play by play. NOW WHEN I TRIED AGAIN, the CAR STAYED IN REVERSE and I could feel it pulling even though the clutch pedal is still depressed. Needless to say, I did not get it out of gear that day it backed her up into another parking spot.

So now the car is at the dealership and the tech says that the throw out bearing is not even touching. The dealer parts are rediculous and a kit is not really a kit. I looked online and found kits that included the release bearing / slave cylinder with the clutch. I was going to go factory but the difference is over double. What do you think of the RHINO set? I don't want to be cheap but I don't want to be a chump either.

Thank you all for your advice and Happy Holidays !
