Letting my membership lapse is clearly my responsibility. But in all fairness, CICCI is the only organization I have ever belonged to that didn't notify me that my membership was up for renewal - at least I don't recall receiving any notification. So I will consider renewing my membership by paying any past dues incurred. (Note: Paying any back dues is not an option at this point with the information in the thread on CICCI website highlighted below.)
