Sure enough, got the humming this morning. Key to "ON" position is enough, engine not running. Popped the hood. Noise is coming from the RCM box. There is some kind of circular 1" exhaust in the box and I can feel air flow towards the inside of the box. Pics below. I guess this is just the RCM/ECU cooling fan then?
