Mine is semitransparent, so I was able to mark the level which made it easy to put the exact amount back in.
It is pretty simple, IF you have access to a lift, otherwise very messy and cramped if you have to put the car on stands.
Do you clean out the extractor tank to measure the fluid taken out? My extractor has seen an ungodly mix of fluid and I am not to sure I could attempt to clean it out. Inquiring minds need to know.
