Ok, so basically to start off I was going for a quick drive around town and half way through I pulled hard on the car and I noticed a slight sluggish feeling at WOT in the Upper part of the RPM range (subtle but there) I also noticed smoke behind me around with some other cars... did not think it was my car. SO i tested again. WOT and more smoke. parked the car and opened the hood... BAM Oil all over the passenger side...

The oil dipstick had come out. and it looks like the fan/driving blew the oil everywhere behind it.But is that all?

Drove home gently... seemed fine. no smoke. I also believe the smoke was coming from oil hitting the exhaust and not actually coming out of it.. I hope.

I tried cleaning the oil as best as I can.

No engine codes.

I'm more concerned if there is another problem... like I blew a head gasket.

Note... the oil dipstick slides out easily with little effort... normal?'

I wonder if this is a common problem with SRT that have more horsepower.

I couldn't find anything specifically related to this. Although my searching skills are sub par at best.

If anyone has any info on this I would love to hear your thoughts... or just find a way to secure the dipstick and refill oil. thank you!!
