I looking for a little help, I took my car in for alignment after having new tires installed.
They told me that I need an entire tie rod assembly and quoted me (you guessed it), a price I wasn't willing to pay. Over a #1000. Labor, material and alignment.
OK, my question being, is this some thing I can do in my drive way? I have the whole assembly coming. Or should I have a trusted mechanic do it? I look in the service manual and couldn't find any specific directions on removing or installing the assembly. Any help or directions on this project would be greatly appreciated. The entire assembly will be on the 23th.
