Default Re: Bluetooth 4.0 HD mod to factory system

macsr, Welcome to Crossfire Forum!
Hope you're enjoying your '07. Post some pictures sometime.

If you know of a reputable car audio shop to do the installation for you, they should be able to replicate this Bluetooth (BT) install without any problems.

The idea for this mod is to introduce the new BT signal ahead of the factory amplifier and still have the use of the factory CD/radio with the use of a dual post dual throw (DPDT) relay.

I chose the Exile Audio EXBT4 Bluetooth receiver strictly for its sound quality performance, although you can choose any BT receiver of your choice for your system. There are 5 key players for this mod and they are as follows...

275-218 12vdc DPDT Relay

Stainless Steel Angel Eye DPDT latching push button switch

Noise Supressor for Line Level audio signal

PAC LD-10 Line Driver signal booster

Exile Audio EXBT4 Marine Bluetooth v4.0 music receiver

All other wires and accessories should be available from the shop doing the installation.
