Our return trip back to Florida was the Western Blueridge Pkwy(BRP), Rt 215 north, Rt 276 south, then hitail it back on I-26 & I-95, with a stop at Amelia Island to visit a classmate for a short.
Picked up BRP Western Entrance above Cherokee, NC, then North on Rt 215- 215 is a very "twisty" road there, 25-30 mph is about as fast as one could go for a short time.. then picked up Rt 276 south, with variable kinds of road, including some twisties and mountain roads. Looking Glass Falls is right on rt 276, and crowded. Driving to Caesar Head park, SC is a nice curvy, climbing stretch. In Greenville, SC we picked up I-26, then I-95, with a short visit to a classmate in Amelia Island, Fl and on south to homes in Brevard County, Florida.
