I agree with GG, the locking of the doors and flashing lights is solely the result of the CLP/SSM in the trunk being at fault, it also controls the siren if the siren is in good working order.
The CLP/SSM gets ruined when it gets wet and all sorts of weird things happen.

Disconnect the siren and see what problems remain. If you have the same problems then the siren is OK.
