Duh...

Just checked mine, the rubber plugs are on both sides nearer to the center of the car underneath.

Hi All,

I believe I am having an issue with the module being submerged. My fog lights have been flashing, and my door locks do not work with either the fob or button inside. The dome light also came on during my commute this morning as if the door was open.

Also, going around a curve, I could've swore I heard a splash sound come from the back. I had assumed it was just water flying off the spoiler and hitting the ground -- it has rained a lot this week and she is no longer garaged.

Is majority opinion that I have a submerged module, rather than a faulty alarm? If so, is this due for replacement, or drying?
Thank you.

I pulled the cowl back to find the alarm and plugged the new one in. Unfortunately, the car still functioned the same. I can, however, very faintly hear a muted version of the alarm going off. I have noticed this sound before when I had the car in accessory mode. Also worth noting, the TPMS is on permanently and I do not believe my homeland works. Any ideas before I make an appointment at the stealership?

You never said if you had checked for water. Any codes set?
If you insist on going to the dealer then I suggest you see your bank manager first and find out how good your credit is. Hiding your first born son is also a good idea.

Oh trust me, it goes far against my grain to take it to the dealer. I’m unable to check for water because, with the central locking not working, I cannot access the trunk. And I am too well-fed to crawl over the bulkhead to search for a manual release.

My gas gas tank is also perma-locked, and I’m nearing E. Great.

You can open the trunk by removing the driver side license plate light and move the lock action and the trunk can be opened using the latch.
Look in the Index to Crossfire ..... in my sig below. It is to found in the body section. #1 PDF, #2 PDF
You can also look for water by poking a small hole in the robber plugs under the trunk on the passenger side.
Remember nothing is new here, it has all been seen before and a solution found.

I keep wondering why there is a tamper proof screw holding the alarm module to the bracket. I mean, you can just unplug it, you can unbolt the bracket from the car and take the whole thing out. So, why at that point is it like "A HA! We will now try to prevent you from removing the module from the bracket!" ... and it really doesn't do that anyway.

Where did you find the part? I found it, but have been told by MB that, "the part is on global backorder."
Thank you.
