This is a new on to me. Full story:

Left the house and stopped for gas. topped off the tank with premium and drove on down the road. Went approx 2 miles and car died. Let car sit about 2 hours and it finally restarted. I attempted to start the car several times, I can crank the car over and it MAY start, but with a stumble so bad, you cant press the throttle. I left it sit for 2 hours and it started and drove approx 2 miles before it did the same stumble thing again.

Is this the dreaded crank position sensor issue? I hate to bring it to a mechanic for a simple parts swap
