I'm generally not a numbers guy myself, however since the car isn't in front of me, I don't have the keys, and I'm not sitting on a great road course (laguna seca comes to mind) to test it out, I have to look at numbers.
I'm just looking at the big picture here. The crossfire srt6 will be built in limited production numbers. For the looks, power, and AMG standing behind its design quality, I'd have to say the Crossfire SRT is going to be tough competition on the track for any boxster in the lineup.
I'm not trying to change your mind, I'm just defending the SRT6 pricing / design. I think it is worth the money now, and when I get behind the wheel I'll have a grin ear to ear.
I just don't get how people flip there noses up at what Chrysler is trying to do. If this Crossfire had a Mercedies badge on it, paired up with an AMG badge, they could add 10k to the price and it would sell out before they hit the ground.
