Well guys,

The x-fire went today......
I'm genuinely gutted about it, as I loved that car.

However, the fuel costs were just too much in the end. It was costing me £160 ($210) per month in fuel, bearing in mind I don't actually live that far away from work.
Also, some of the spares over here are becoming increasingly difficult to find and expensive. So, a minor fender bender could be a real issue for example.

So, she's gone and now I'm captain sensible with a civic S type.

Thanks for all the help you guys have given me over the past year or so - truly appreciated.
I will be keeping an eye on the forum, as I'll always retain a soft spot for these wonderful & increasingly rare cars.

I've got a feeling though, that I'll end up with another at some point. Perhaps when I'm a bit nearer to retirement and the running costs are not so important.
