To some extent, if you are asking about removing the trim - yes, I think Andy or Paul did write about that. BUT -- The procedure to remove the trim is rather easy - go to Autozone and get a "rivet puller" for those plastic fasteners and start taking them out. I'ts NOT hard, just start taking them out and the trim and carpet will come out easily.

Once you can SEE what you have, we will konw what direction to go with this. The first question I have is: "Is there water damage in the trunk?" Once we know that answer, we can know what to focus effort on.
