I'm not sure those numbers are that defensable. Here's a figure for ya. The BMW six series coupe is going to cost very near $70,000. The convertible six series is going to cost $77,000. That's a 10% premium over the coupe (a $70,000 coupe, which the crossfire is not). Therefore, disregarding the new cheaper coupe, that $45,000 is a 28% premium. Maybe an SRT-6 is worth the hefty 28%, but I doubt it. Someone should check my math (I'm really tired right now) but I think I'm right. It is your choice but I think $45,000 for a crossfire with 330hp is a bit too expensive.
