Yes, otherwise having two working keys would be impossible.
Now, when you "program' the key to the car, you are only programming the lock/unlock/panic buttons. The RFID in the key that starts the car requires no programming.
So, even if you could get the car to forget the stolen key's programming, that stolen key would fail to lock//unlock the doors, but if the doors were left unlocked, it would still start the car.
There MAY be a way to get the car to "forget" old keys, but the only way to make the old keys not start the car, would be to replace the SKREEM with one with a different RFID code, I believe that IS possible, but not for the standard price.
This is the one thing about our anti-theft system that is kind of a 'fail'.
