Thank you for this information. This spring is a likely candidate, as it is a tension spring also, and located in the same general area as my mystery spring. It is also #20 in this 2004 diagram:

But I have now checked, and this spring is still intact in my 2004 Crossfire. It is also somewhat larger than the stray tension spring I found. I will keep checking for awhile. Thank you again for your help.
