FYI the original flat tire kit is still in its original wrappings..never been touched
the sc pulley looks like its been rubbing on the engine cover...thin strips of what looks like plastic around its complete circumference at the rear edge of the pulley.
new rear rubber scheduled for this morning...Discount Tire had to order the Barum Bravius tires (made by Continental and at $81 for 255/40-20 Ill give it a shot to get the 6 on the road and can switch or upgrade later

PS how do you get the plywood, foam inserts out of the truck recess to check the unlocking pump for water intrusion??
My hood liner made marks on my NA engine cover at the front, I used contact glue which I applied through a slit in the liner, put it in onto the metal, pushed the two together, separated them till they were tacky and pushed them together again.
It may seem a tacky way of doing it but it held the liner up and away from the cover and all was good again.
