I just contacted my local Chrysler dealer to confirm that they are now charging $800.00 for a new key fob part# 5099684AA.
Mercedes dealers offer the same key fob part# A1937600106 for $200.00!!
I would like to purchase the key fob from Mercedes and take it to my Chrysler dealer who would charge me $150.00 to program the fob to my vehicle.
The Chrysler dealer is telling me they will not guarantee that they can program the Mercedes key fob to my car, despite the fact that it's the same fob.
Question... Has anyone purchased the Mercedes fob and had it programmed to your vehicle?
