You are very welcome. Yes, it was not a good experience. And you are so right. Great points to adhere to.

It's scary enough to have to mail all the required parts that are basically not replaceable plus the worry they might got lost or delayed in transit.

I wish there was a way they could log into the skreem and ecu online via the obd port to resync, get the codes for keys etc.

Right! If they disappear you're up the creek without the proverbial paddle!

I have a thread with my info on it, you should check it out. I don’t leave people hanging and SOL. I have spare SKREEMS, new keys, I can cut, I’m cheaper than SOS, faster, and my stuff works. I can text/call/email whenever and we aren’t done until everything’s working.

You are very correct! It was a tense time when I sent ALL my keys across the continent with the hope that nothing goes wrong..
I tracked the movement through the USPS and noticed that my package containing my new and old keys were marked as delivered!! The shipment required my signature upon receipt. The mail carrier hadn't come to my house yet. I panicked, haha.. I walked down the street and caught up with the carrier. To my relief he handed me my package.

Having said all that; I want to reiterate my experience with SOS. I called them on the phone before the transaction. The conversation was very friendly and very well explained. Other than the issue with the USPS the transaction couldn't have been better. SOS did exactly what they said they would do and for what I consider a good deal, they increased the value of my car by $1,000. To me SOS are geniuses. They are honest and capable.

They would not talk to me over the phone regarding anything about the order other than payment. They do not discuss anything technical over the phone. This is even stated on their website. And the last time I checked, saying that someone did or said something they didn't is not honest. Just saying.

Hi fellow xfires, what I did, for me, is I took my chip and attached it to my ign ring ( that way I can cut new keys without finding new chips to match the security system)

I found a place in Hamilton that will supply the remote, program it, and cut the key for $250CDN. While you wait.
I've been using it for a week now and it is flawless and looks just like the factory remote except its's missing the little Chrysler emblem.

Options, just LOVE capitalism! Glad they are getting easier to replace!
