I called Mercedes and they can provide the same key fob with their part# A1937600106 for $200.00.
The Chrysler dealer would then have to program that key fob to my vehicle at an additional cost of $150.00.
However my dealer has never done that and would not guarantee that it would work.
I would like to know if anyone has used this process successfully?
I believe you "program" the key yourself. There are instructions both here on the forum and in your owners manual on how to do that. Other than the purchase price, the only other cost should be in cutting the physical key blade.
