I would suspect the check valve in the filter, when you turn on the engine with the key just before the bstart position do you hear the fuel pump runningbfor long?
You could check the fuel pressure in the fuel rail after you have left the car for ten minutes or put a pressure gage on it and watch it for a sudden drop in pressure when the car is turned off.
