So any communication/product information from Autel is suspect. Autel support is crap IMO so even if it works, I'd consider the other options first. I'll fiddle with it tomorrow or monday to see what the reality is. It just so happens that I need to bleed my ABS module.

Can you manually force an SLK320 VIN to get it to work? I retrieved one from a 2003 car on the local MB lot just to have for ordering parts on-line. (Many official MB parts sites demand a VIN # before they will accept the order.) Just a thought...
