Likeing the bmw cup holder concept but really want something that would fold away rather than removable (ill keep this in mind though). Planned on keeping 4 seperate parts but adding a new attaching mounts to hold the new bezel together as solid sections while still using the same receiver post & clips to match the factory center console frame. The double din compartment is going to have a shell that structurally will tie into the original 1din frame for support (so other than cutting the bottom of the 1din factory shell and extend towards the bottom. Right now ive just been mocking the faceplate style and curves. Then ill be thinning the bezels and re-angeling to match oem layout. There will be a back layer that will have all the posts to match oem locations, once set... ill combine the layers and prototype print to add any further modifications. Wouldve been farther but storing the car at a friends until i get my garage renovations dobe (havent always got the parts in view to meaaure right now).Thanks for the feedbacks!
