The M112 is really solid, I've lost count of how many of us are past 200,000 miles and I know of two that are past 300,000 miles - with original timing chains, even.
Anyone who has the original chains at that mileage is asking for serious trouble. Many of these cars have had parts changed unknown to the current owner.
Once the chain starts jumping gear teeth or breaking you are in for a quick lesson on major engine repair.
