No. But at 2019 that car is at least 14 years old. A convertible top 14 years old may look good but it IS OLD.
The 2006's spent a lot of time stored in the Hot South Carolina sun. I don't think it helped.
I did the repair. Mine had a separation by force about 7 inches long. Did the repair with 3M and I found it to be OK. Then, in storage for another year, the window fell completely out of my 2006. New top this spring for sure.
The old one looks fine so I will follow 180's advice. Fix it and store for later. Thieves ruin tops all the time.
