My old POS 300 used that method to display the trouble codes, the Crossfire does not rework like that. It actually showed errors on the 300 that my OBDII scanner did not show.
What you see is a double wrench service is required. You can do that yourself, no need to waste money at the stealership.
Down load the Service Manual and Owners Manual from this site and see what is required.
