I think I need to replace my glove box light switch. I put a new bulb in the switch and it still does not come on. Checked the fuse, #31 in the underhood fuse box and it is good. Sounds like the switch is bad. The old switch has a part number on it that is 170 820 01 01 and a manufacturer number from "Hella" that is 146415. I found two switch's on ebay and of course they are called Mercedez glove box light switch's. The part number on them is 210 820 00 01 and a Hella part number the same as the XF number, 146415. I'm betting they are the same switch. They look identical but there is just a small little difference in the top of the switch which looks like a molding difference. The metal parts on the interior look the same, from the pictures on ebay.

Does anyone know if they are the same switch? Since the "Hella" part number is the same, seems logical the switch's are the same.

If anyone know's, please let me know if they are interchangeable.
